'mercyscape' - high noon
'mercyscape' - high noon
High Noon’ is inspired by the colors of the water on a hot summer day. This calm and peaceful ‘mercyscape’, with its soft monochromatic blues is an invitation to just sit and stare and let your mind press pause.
The inspiration for the ‘mercyscape’ series began in 2006 and since then I have had the privilege of studying and painting light; its patterns, its colors, changes in seasons and at different points of the day.
